The body was found near South 19th and Derry streets in the area of Rowland and Scott Schools, although the schools were not in session when the body was found.
The death is "not being investigated as suspicious. No foul play has been detected. There were no bullet holes or stab wounds," Matt Maisel Director of Communications for the City of Harrisburg told Daily Voice citing Lt. Kyle Gautsch.
Police know the identity of the person who died, "but will not be discussing it much further because it does not appear to be a suspicious death," Maisel says.
